Frequently Asked Questions

How can I access the films?
The link and password will be available on our website www.wilmingtonjff.org.  The link will become active at 7 pm on the given week and accessible for 48 hours.  An email will be sent out the night before with a reminder and any additional information.

 

Can I watch the films more than once?

You can pause and restart a film as many times as you want within the 48-hour period it is available.

 

Can I share the link with others?

This film is licensed for streaming  exclusively in the Wilmington area We want to protect the distributors and filmmakers so that the films may be picked up in other markets.

 

Why is there no charge for the films?

Because supporters like you have made it possible to show the films without having to sell tickets. If you would like to make a donation to the Wilmington Jewish Film Festival, become a Friend of the Festival or a Sponsor, you can do so under Support Us on our website.

 

Can I watch this on my TV?

You can mirror the image from your mobile phone, tablet or laptop on to your television with an HDMI cord that will connect the two devices. The input setting on your TV will need to be changed with the TV remote. More specific advice can be obtained from an electronics store, such as Best Buy. 

 

In addition, if you have a smart television, you should be able to access our website on the Internet App. If you have an Apple device, you can go into settings and under AirPlay click automatically AirPlay to TVs.

 

If all else fails, then do what we do, ask someone under the age of 30.

The Wilmington Jewish Film Festival, in association with the Wilmington United Jewish Appeal and with the support of other community groups, is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization whose mission is, through the screening of excellent films with Jewish content, to promote a deeper understanding of Jewish history and contemporary Jewish culture. We hope to inspire appreciation for the various forms of Jewish identity and to foster a warm sense of community.


We also wish to celebrate our heritage with the general public as we offer the larger community a forum for discussion, debate, and education on the range of Jewish experiences and themes portrayed in the films we screen.
